A Weekend in Engelberg

Engelberg, Switzerland

To the forgotten place of memories.

Three friends, a car (as much as I want it to, this is not really a van, but it got a lot of flair anyway!) A beautiful landscape to discover and some bras to shoot.

I first discover sport photography through climbing, I spend a lot of time outside, trying to catch was I saw, what I experienced, all the beauty of the nature around.

Even if it may feels like I take more pictures of everything else now. I still feel really connected to climbing and the love of the outdoor stays forever.

I need to confess that I spend the last months a lot in the city and my love for architecture felt at home.

As we drove nearer to the mountains I felt this passion for the great outdoors rushing back. And I tried to embrace it for a week end. Breath my lungs full of fresh air, see as many details and colours, as I can, fill my heart with inspiration, joy and the sensation of freedom that I always get to experience in big open spaces.

This wonderful moment, shared with two good friends, brought me back to times I wish I will never forget. The cooking by the light off the headlamps, waking up by the sound of nature, drinking fresh water, smelling new fragrances of the autumn, laughing at old and new jokes, climbing with passion, feeling the cold of the rock under my fingers. All reminded me of some adventures I shared with others, adding a the little details to make this memory stand on itself too.

The mystery and the beauty of memories.
